At Prescience Diagnostics, we believe that essential health insights through genetic testing should be within reach for all individuals. Our dedicated billing specialists are here to help families navigate coverage and access the testing they need.
We work with most major insurance providers—including commercial plans, Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare. For those without coverage, we offer transparent self-pay pricing, interest-free payment plans, and a comprehensive Financial Assistance Program for eligible patients.
Once your provider places the test order, Prescience Diagnostics will typically handle the prior authorization (PA) request with your insurance company, if required. While we’re in-network with many insurers, PAs are often needed for genetic testing.
Your provider may initiate a benefits investigation (BI) to estimate your potential out-of-pocket costs. Keep in mind, this is only an estimate and may change based on your plan’s approval process or PA status.
Your actual out-of-pocket costs will depend on several factors, including the specific test ordered and your insurance plan’s terms—such as copay, coinsurance, and whether your deductible has been met.
Even if your insurance covers the test, you may still receive a bill if your annual deductible hasn’t been fulfilled. Like other forms of medical care, genetic testing is subject to your insurance plan’s policies.
If you have questions about your bill or think it needs to be reviewed, reach out to our billing team at info@presciencedx.com.
We’re committed to ensuring that cost doesn’t stand in the way of access to important genetic insights. Our Financial Assistance Program is designed to ease the financial burden of testing for qualifying patients.F
The program has generous eligibility guidelines—many patients qualify for partial or full assistance.
